Description

This world premiere, which ran Off-Broadway at the Minetta Lane Theatre in February 2024 and reunited the team behind The Band’s Visit, represents Audible Theater’s first commissioned musical. Dead Outlaw draws from the true story of Elmer McCurdy, an outlaw in the early 1900s who died in a shootout after a posse tracked him down. His unclaimed mummified body was then used as a sideshow attraction for several decades.
