Holiday Markets

Description

New York City takes shopping to a new level with the many holiday markets that pop up for the season. Grab a cup of hot cocoa and brave the cold to find homemade wares for everyone on your list at the three big outdoor markets—Union Square Holiday Market (November 16–December 24), Holiday Shops at Winter Village at Bryant Park (October 27–January 5) and Columbus Circle Holiday Market (November 28–December 31)—or stay warm at the indoor Grand Central Holiday Fair (November 11–December 24). Sister markets Brooklyn Flea (indoor, November–December) and Chelsea Flea (outdoor, year-round) are both open on weekends only. Head to the Upper West Side for the indoor and outdoor Grand Holiday Bazaar (Sundays, year-round) or make your way to the Brooklyn Borough Hall Holiday Market in Downtown Brooklyn (November–December), featuring 100 vendors selling locally crafted wares. While you're in Brooklyn, swing by the I AM CARIBBEING holiday market, which features the work and wares of Latino and Caribbean artisans.
