NYC Ballet Spring Repertory Season
This event has already occurred
Description
Many of the New York City Ballet’s beautifully staged winter performances continue into spring, including Divertimento No. 15 and Scotch Symphony. Added to the roster are some of George Balanchine’s most famed ballets, including the early masterpiece Apollo and his later successes Ballo della Regina and Chaconne. The season continues with Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky’s Solitude, Christopher Wheeldon’s After the Rain and Kyle Abraham’s When We Fell (the live performance premiere of the 2021 film). It all wraps up with a weeklong production of Balanchine’s take on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the end of May.
