Description

This year marks the 264th celebration of the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in NYC. The parade kicks off at 11am, moving along Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 82nd Street. Expect to see plenty of Irish flags and shamrocks along with people decked out in kelly green. This year’s grand marshal is Michael Benn, a native of Limerick in Ireland and the president and chairman of the Queens County St. Patrick’s Day Parade, who is deeply involved with the NYC Irish community.
