Lena Horne Bandshell

Description

The Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park hosts a wide variety of open-air entertainment during the warm weather months, including live rock, jazz, and classical concerts, as well as movie screenings—many of them free to the public. The bandshell is also the home base of the annual Celebrate Brooklyn festival, which includes booths serving food from local restaurants and performances from acclaimed artists. Besides benefits by big headliners, there are typically lots of world music shows and a few aimed at kids.
