Winter 2024–25 Arts Guide
A pair of monumental installations highlight the arts calendar, led by the Shed’s restaging of Luna Luna, a 1980s amusement park featuring works by Basquiat and other notable New York artists. Even more NYC-centric, a giant sculpture of a pigeon has descended on the High Line, where it will remain for a couple of years. Elsewhere, there’s an array of dance seasons, centennial celebrations and landmark exhibitions, including one on Asian American magazines from the Generation X era.
