The World Cup brings the world together. Nowhere reflects the diversity of the 48 nations taking part better than New York, where immigrant communities from across the globe have been building the city for generations. In partnership with Mayor Mamdani and Team Wonder, the NYC Neighborhood Passport is a citywide program encouraging New Yorkers and visitors to explore these diverse communities, cultural institutions, small businesses and neighborhood events throughout the tournament.

Starting on June 11, NYC Neighborhood Passport booklets will be available at every branch library in all five boroughs and at select events. Pick one up for free and then collect 12 different stamps from hundreds of neighborhood organizations, cultural institutions and events—including dance performances, film screenings, festivals, art exhibits, book talks and block parties—across the boroughs. Locations reflect the richness of New York City’s cultural life and its extraordinary diversity, particularly in the many immigrant enclaves such as Little Senegal, Little Colombia, Little India and numerous others.

The unique passport stamps will be randomly distributed across designated locations and events throughout the City, encouraging visitors to explore in order to collect them all. Each one is designed by a New York City–based artist with global roots, reflecting the teams playing in the World Cup and the cultural diversity of NYC.
